Ingratitude—Why is it so prevalent today? The gratitude and thankfulness Shown in previous generations is all but gone! Why? And what can you do to make sure you are grateful?   Ingratitude is an integral part of society. If you ask most people if they are ungrateful, they will most likely reply, “Of course not!” The say no because their ingratitude is a sin and they don’t want to admit it or just want to hide it. However, this attitude is so ingrained in today’s society, they cannot openly admit—or even realize—that they are very ungrateful.   How can you even tell if you are an ungrateful person? Are there characteristics that can help you identify ingratitude? If I have ingratitude in my heart how can I correct it?

God’s Holy Unmerited Grace

God’s Holy Unmerited Grace   I Peter 5:10-11 10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen..” Our God is the God of all grace because He is gracious and extends His grace, His unmerited favor toward us in so many different ways! I think perhaps there are a great many people in our world who feel like they deserve every good thing they get in life. But in reality, every good gift comes from the grace of God, not because we deserve them or we authored them. James 1:16-17 6Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.   We are here taught that God is not the author of any man’s sin. Whoever they are who raise persecutions against men, and whatever injustice and sin they may be guilty of in proceeding against them, God is not to be charged with it. And, whatever sins good men may themselves be provoked to by their exercises and afflictions, God is not the cause of them. ____________________________________________________ We shouldn’t deceive ourselves of good gifts by saying we deserve them because I worked hard for them or my parents worked hard for it for us or much less by thinking we made them happen because we did not and that would be pride and we all know what happens when pride sets in. In truth we all deserve hell because we have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory but because God is full of grace He blesses us with all good things and offered to us eternal life through faith in His only begotten Son Jesus Christ!

Today we will be reading a passage of Scripture that has caused more speculation and fear that possibly any other scripture has to mankind. For many centuries people have been trying to decipher the Mark of the Beast and what it means or who it is. People

I am very excited to begin today our message on angels. I am hoping that at the end of this message you will be much more informed about what God’s word has to say about these special supernatural helpers. I first became informed about angels a few years ago when I read reading the book of Hebrews.

What signs has He mentioned in these verses? He has mentioned many things, most of which will be fulfilled during the days of the Tribulation. Let me give you a brief overview of the events Jesus said would come to pass in the last days. There will be many false Messiahs. There will be wars and rumors of wars. There will be turmoil among the nations of the earth. There will be persecution of the people of God. The Antichrist will come to power on the earth and will declare himself to be God, and he will demand to be worshiped. The earth will pass through a time of divine judgment called the Tribulation Period.

Hi All,   Welcome once again to “A Voice in The Desert”. Today we are going to speak to you about one of satan’s great deception done right under our noses and most of us have not even noticed it. Living in a modern world has its advantages in quality of life such as refrigerators, stoves, washing machine, medical advances, medicinal advances, food harvesting, information dissemination, etc. Language barriers have broken down with the advent of translators and interpreters. However, we all know that we live in a fallen world and even though we are in it we are not part of it, that being you are a reborn Christian. One of the latest tactics of satan has been to change the Word of God and discredit the same. God in His infinite wisdom knew beforehand that this would occur and thus God warned us through his Word Revelation 22:18, For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.   Don't forget to Download The special Bonus PDF document on Modern_Version_Lies_about_Jesus_Christ.pdf.

Sometimes when I would finish giving the sermon people would come up to me an say wow thank you that was a great sermon. Until a friend of my and a colleague came up to me and said when I listen to you speak, you always sound so certain about everything. Do you ever doubt?” I told him I thought that was a very important question. My answer was short and simple. Yes, I do have doubts. I don’t talk about them very much, but I doubt every day. (After I told this story on Sunday morning, a very godly man was concerned about that statement — did I really mean it and that person happened to be my senior pastor at that time? Absolutely, I said. I have doubts and questions that I cannot answer every single day.) I don’t know how a person can be a Christian and not have doubts from time to time. Faith requires doubt in order to be faith. Sicerely, Cesar "A Voice In The Desert"

The Power of The Living Hope

Friday May 12, 2017

Friday May 12, 2017

The apostle Peter wrote to the Church in Asia Minor after the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus, and set himself to write something encouraging to the beleaguered Christians of Asia Minor. This is almost the same as we are starting to experience here in the United States persecution against the Christians and for all intended matter all around the world. Hold on and be steadfast in your faith for great shall be your reward. Blessed are those who's Hope is in the Lord.

Why Did Judas Betray?

Wednesday May 03, 2017

Wednesday May 03, 2017

"Why Did Judas Betray?" Matthew 26:6-16 Matthew 26:6 (KJV) Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, Matthew 26:7 (KJV) There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. Matthew 26:8 (KJV) But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? Matthew 26:9 (KJV) For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. Matthew 26:10 (KJV) When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. Matthew 26:11 (KJV) For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. Matthew 26:12 (KJV) For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Matthew 26:13 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. Matthew 26:14 (KJV) Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, Matthew 26:15 (KJV) And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. Matthew 26:16 (KJV) And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him. John 12:4-6 John 12:3 (KJV) Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment. John 12:4 (KJV) Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, John 12:5 (KJV) Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? John 12:6 (KJV) This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Mathew 26:47-50; 27:3-5 Title: The Holy Bible, King James Version Edition: Third Publisher: Public Domain Publisher Location: Omaha, Nebraska Matthew 26:47 (KJV) And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Matthew 26:48 (KJV) Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. Matthew 26:49 (KJV) And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. Matthew 26:50 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. Then on Mathew 27:3-5 the Word of God Says Matthew 27:3 (KJV) Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Matthew 27:4 (KJV) Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. Matthew 27:5 (KJV) And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
